So, maybe it's because I have alot of time on my hands while I am sitting at my desk working, or maybe it's becasue I am addicted, but I am on information overload by looking through the many blogs and websites I visit daily. One day I will post my favorites. It's a lot of mom blogs, but also some savings blogs and shoppings link and celebrity blogs as well. I guess I am just nosey that way.
Today I guess I made some big mistake on an order for flowers. Turns out I sent the flowers meant for the girlfriend to the wife. There was no other order for this guy though, so I ask you was it really my fault, or was it just time he got caught?

The doctor's office and the hospital all in one day

So, I was sitting here yesterday taking phone calls (or not taking them because geez who calls for flowers at 5am), but anyways, I was sitting on the phone waiting to get off my shift at 8am, when I began to feel a little pressure in my belly. Now, I assumed it was gas or something similar, but by 8:11 I was doubled over in pain. I tried to call Bill and beg him to come home, but he couldn't be back until 9:30. I called my parents' home and cell numbers, no answer, I called my sister Kristy, no answer, I didn't even try heather as I knew she would be sleeping. I kept calling for like a half hour, unsuccessfully. These pains were worse than giving birth. Seriously I could've had 10 childnre naturally than this pain. Gall bladder?-no had that out. Appendix-maybe. Finally, after considering 911, I got a phone call from Kristy and she was on her way, Bill he was on his way, and mom, she was on her way. They all pulled up at the same time. Bill took me to St. Joe's. All I can do is say wow. Thank goodness they are still open and they didn't close. I was seen within minutes, had pain meds within a half hour and was being wheeled in for the cat scan with the results of -KIDNEY STONES- I sat there for a few hours and we went home.
The whole time, Mia has been home with everyone going in and out of fever. I knew it was something. So while at the hospital, Bill made an appt with the doctor. and her results? -strep throat-
what a day!

it's the middle of february

really, it is the middle of february and it seems as if we just finished christmas and we are well on our way to easter already. I know that easter is early this year, but my goodness. i am in the middle of what the good people at 1-800flowers call gold rush week. basically it is when the entire world orders flowers or complains about them to the wonderful customer service personnel working from the comfort of their own homes. I for one have made the transition from work to home life beautifully.
REmember a few months ago I mentioned a life list? well, this was my 40 things to do before I am 40. I can't think of 40 things ( I know pathetic right) but here is what I have so far. Goshmy expectations for the next 10 years isn't really that numerous, but here it goes (and I will take suggestions for the 15 or so spots to fill up my 40 thing sto do before 40 list. Please)

Good Early Morning

So, what am I doing updating my blog at 6am? well I've been up since around 4:45 and working until 6am in the morning doing the flowers thing. Sad to say that I had to pu tm y notice into the law firm. I have worked there almost 3 years and I had to quit. Of course, I gave them the option to let me work from home, but they are not in with the times and have refused my request, so in turn, I have refused to work for them. My last day will be friday with them.
So Valentine's day is around the corner and I am seeing the rush in the flowers calls, but what do I want this year?

We had a HUGE windstorm the other day and sat without heat all day and night. Thankfully, the winds have died down. I hope someone builds next to us soon as we are the first house on the street and the wind seems to hit us first. But I really love the neighborhood here. Tonight we are invited to a neighborhood kids party at a local place for kids. And Bill got an invite to the neighborhood gofl tournament in April.
