October's almost over!

I can't believe that October is almost over. I had such high hopes for the month, but we have been overly busy. November to me means Christmas shopping and I haven't bought one present for the holidays yet. I better get going. I am usually halfway done by now. As of today, I don't even have a list started. I guess I could blame it on the house as well since I really had no place to put any presents.
Speaking of the house, I promise to put pictures up soon, Melanie and everyone else interested. But seriously, stop by (okay, not so much you melanie, Japan is kinda far to come here to see the house) to see the house. We are typically home during the day. We just bought a desk for the den. I have been on a 3 month search for the perfect desk and finally settled on one because I was sick of looking any further.
My list of things to do next summer is immense. So I need to start saving. We want to take the kids to disney, mainly because I want to go and because I know they will LOVE it. So that is in the plans. We need landscaping, a deck (this could probably wait another year), a dining room set (another thing that can wait) and I am sure more.
I am waiting to hear if I have tickets to see the Rachael Ray show in November. I guess I put my name on the list for tickets and I got the email on Friday that I was up for tickets. The first date I picked was chosen, but they gave me a second chance, so I am waiting for that email. It would be just perfect if she decided to do a Christmas show like Oprah does and it happens to be the time I go. Well, let's keep our fingers crossed that I at least get tickets.
I will update more soon, and yes I will have pictures up as well.

Cool mommy gear

So I have been looking around the web and see many websites that feature cool stuff for moms, both new and old and I came across the coolest looking stroller anywhere, so I thought I would share. Called Mutsy

I think if my kids were a little younger, I would invest, maybe if we ever decide to have another. It has cool interchangeability. It comes in really different colors. It can be a carriage, a stroller, car seat carrier... (you just attach a different seat) It even has an attachable steering wheel so the kids can feel as if they are driving. Really cool. One of them even comes with 2 sets of wheels, one for regular walking and one for trail walking. I've gone through many strollers because I have ended up hating them in the end either because they are too heavy or because they just don't do what I need them to do, but this one looks really neat. So, if you are in the market for a stroller, take a look at the website.

We're here!

So, it's been a long couple of weeks, we still have boxes everywhere, but we are finally living in our new house. We still look like we just moved in. Our dog fence is in, our internet is hooked up, and we finally got a phone number. Anyway...
Bailey went to the farm on a school field trip and had a blast. He got to milk a goat and ride a pony. I went as a chaperon and had a good time watching the kids.
Amelia is really liking school, at least the singing part. And she is very happy when she gets to go. I will be looking into the Universal pre-k program for next year as I think her current school will be too far to drive 3 days a week next year.
Bill turned the big 3-0 last week. Of course he had no rest that day as we were only on day 2 of the move, so we worked like crazy.
I am sure there is more going on, and when I have a free chance I will update everyone more...
