Another Open House

Tomorrow we will be having another open house. After all the people came last week, we are hoping not only for another great turnout, but an offer (and a good one too!). The good th ing about the open houses is my house is spotless for at least the weekend.
I have yet to receive The Secret DVD, but a friend at work bought the book and says it is very interesting.
A few months ago I posted that Bailey was in that book about potty training. We just heard that he will be in another book as well. And that Mia will be on the website. Very exciting about seeing them.
Next week, I am turning 30. I better get that life list together and start working on that. To me, 30 is not a big deal. Now 40, I may have a harder time with.

The Secret

So who watched Oprah last week and this past week about the secret? I have to admit I was intrigued. There I sat for 2 hours last night (I tivo'd both episodes) and literally took notes. It seemed really interesting and simple. So, I bought the DVD. It should come this week and then I will know the secret as well. Oprah says she bought over 30 copies to give to her families and friends. www.thesecret.tv I guess the premises is the art of attraction and you receive what you believe you will receive. I can't wait!
In other news, we had a sucessfil open house to day with about 10 coupoes coming by to check it out. Someone is going to buy this house soon, I just know it! (notice the way I am already using the secret in my thoughts)

Welcome Cooper James!

Kristy delivered Cooper yesterday at a planned c-section at 9:59am. He weighed in at a surprisingly small 7lbs 15oz (not small per se, but since everyone thought she was going to have a big baby, he was a surprise). Kristy had an allergic reaction to some pain meds during the surgery, but is as high as a kite now. The baby is beautiful and looks like a Kowalewski (very different from Lucy). Baby, it's cold outside

And when I say cold, I mean COLD! Schools all throughout WNY are closed becuase seriously there is awindchill of -25 degrees outside. Yes, that is NEGATIVE 25 degrees. I am even dreading work tonight. Tomorrow doesn't look much better.
Kristy and I had that party on Friday and let me just say that I now know how the other half lives. The rich half. This was a million dollar home, in a gated community. The hostess pulled out all the punches with her food and drink selections as well. And it turns out the man of the house will be my sister's anesthesiologist for her upcmonig birth on Thursday. Small world.

Mr. Groundhog says spring is coming

Today is groundhog's day, and if you believe in what the great old groundhog says, we shall be seeing spring pretty soon. I guess we will have had a VERY short winter then. Our winter did't really start until December. Does this mean next year it will be a horrible winter? Probably...
Kristy and I have a party tonight. Nothing like pushing her to the last days and making her work. We got scammed last weeka s we tried to apply for tax stuff for the business, Now if anyone is familiar with selling home party stuff, please advise me. I have heard that the tupperware ladies for example just need to fill out the section c form for their taxes. Party gals wants us to have a tax id number and such. They recommended a website to us that provides a service to get all the necessary tax stuff. Well we paid the money and they ran with it and told us we didn't need such and such. So we are back at square one. Mind you my brother in law works in an accounting firm. This should be easier. No one would sell tupperware or marykay or avon or anything if they had to do all this.
