December almost

These days are really flying by. Only one more month and then it's 2007! Wow! So let's see what has been going on. Does everyone know that Bailey can write his name? I mean the whole thing? it's really neat to see him form his letters and be really good at it. Amelia went to gymnastics with me and the Mom's Club and she loved it! And Bailey's class will be opening up for younger kids starting in January, so we will send Mia as well.
Bill went out and purchased the Nintendo Wii yesterday. Yea, that hard to find toy will find it's way into my house. The good news, he found it, the bad news, he had to buy the bundle package from walmart for it (big money)
As for me, I have been driving myself crazy trying to do a stupid online riddle scavenger hunt. I am on level 40 so far. Here is link, but believe me, it is addicting. And a tip, keep track of your answers. http://weffriddles.com/
I have taken a chunk out of my christmas shopping. I do want to save some for NYC as they may have some different things there. Don't get me wrong, I still have plenty left to do.
My cousin Adriann had her baby girl yesterday on my sister, Heather's, birthday. So welcome Baby Girl!
We have a month full of christmas parties and trips and cookies. The kids did WONDERFUL at their Christmas pictures. And not a tear when they went to see santa.
I am still working on my life list, but will post it soon.

Christmas shopping...

I haven't really started. It is terrible. I just cannot decide on what people want or need this year. We have toysrus in our basement, so santa better start thinking. Mia wants a Baby Alive Doll. I have been SEARCHING for the hispanic one because she has brown hair and eyes and speaks spanish if you want. I did buy the blonde one in case I can't find the other. I refuse to pay ebay's prices or walmart's shipping charges. I've searched the states, so Melanie, if Japan carries the hispanic baby alive, call me...
Bailey has his sights set on the diego rescue center. I think he's a little old for it, but santa will be bring ing it this year.
Other than that, they haven't asked for anything else.
if I don't get it in gear soon, I will be rushing around on Christmas Eve.

November

Well, it's november and I have just realized that I have not even begun christmas shopping yet. By this time last year, I was at least done with the kids. Trick or Treating was an event and the kids ended up with way more candy than they needed. In our house, the Halloween witch takes a visit and takes some of the kids candy from them. We just go through the candy and pick out a bowl and leave it out and then she ususally leaves a small gift (this year it was a craft). Then the Halloween witch brings the candy to their work to share.
This month is Thanksgiving, and I think Bill and I may start our own tradition this year by going away for the holiday. We were thinking of doing that waterpark place up in Canada for the night. As of yet, we have no solid plans, because we are still not sure...
We are heading to New York City to visit Bill's father the second weekend in December. It will be nice to bring the kids to see NYC. plus we can bring them to FAO and ToysRUs. And see the tree and maybe ice skate.
Our parties are going strong and Kristy and I have quite a few booked. I am also posting our link in case anyone wants to do some Christmas shopping :)
