Almost July

Time is flying by! Yesterday, I realized that this week I am making money that will be in my last check before Hawaii. We are leaving on the 15th, so it is super close. Holley will be staying at the Yeomans kennel and we will be set to go.
Kristy and I did quickdish kitchen on Friday. I love that place. We split a 12 meal package and I easily made it home with 10 meals, as she did. Wonderful place and highly recommended.
Mia's 2nd birthday is this weekend. We are gettting her a play kitchen. Actually, I have to get to toys r us sometime this week and pick one up. We have also decided that her new bedroom theme will be fairies. I found a great bedspread at lilly's kids and will be setting up her big girl bedroom probably sometime shortly after Hawaii.
And I am going to be an auntie again. Kristy is due with #2 sometime in February. Lucy and the new baby will be only 16 months apart. Now that is crazy!

Strawberry picking

We took the kids strawberry picking on Sunday and they had a blast. We went to becker farms in Gasport. Alhtough I knew the kids would have fun, I did think they may have been a little young for it, but surprise surprise. We should have had Bailey weighed before he started because he ate enough strawberries to easily make them charge us. He sat quietly on the ground saying, "one for mommy, one for daddy, and one for Bailey!" and would take a big bite out of it. We gave each of the kids a little bucket to fill and dump into our box. Amelia would pick one or two, and then dump it out. She is not a big strawberry eater, so I think the fun for her was dumping them into the box. 9 pounds of strawberries later, the kids took a pony ride and were wiped out on the way home.

I finally finished Mia's party invitations. She has been telling me all along that she is a princess and she wanted a princess party and then along comes Pinky Dinky Doo. Well, she no longer wanted princess she wanted Pinky. She's 2, I highly doubt she will know if it is a princess party or a pinky dinky doo party. Can you believe she is almost 2? My goodness where has the time gone?
