Few and far between

My posts have been few and far between (non existent through Bill) and so I decided on a little update on us. We are still busy busy. This past month we went to Michigan for Easter. The kiddos got to spend some time with their Aunt Annie as well. Which thankfully she sat in the back seat and kept them occupied. We stayed with Bill's dad and went to the Detroit Zoo and just ate everywhere. It was great to get away.
Bailey was on easter vacation last week and now he is back in school.
I have just completed more invitations for an upcoming bridal shower. (my 4th set) and they are really cute and keep me busy while I am just sitting in front of the tv at night.
I am off to a wedding in Maine this weekend and will be their for only 1 night, actually my first night away from the kids. I am looking forward to the wedding and seeing my old roommates and friends from Disney.
Bailey's having a little issue at school with 2 little boys picking on him. I DON"T want him to be that kid that gets picked on like crazy so I brought it up to the teacher. Some parents just amaze me though. Bailey has had his share of time outs for being rough with his friends but it seems as if other parents are so laid back with their kids.
Anyways, as I was talking with is taeacher she told me that the little stinker told her that he is so tired because he stays up all night and when Bill and I fall asleep, he sneaks out of bed and plays with his toys. I had to laugh at the teacher because Bailey hardly wants to play by himself as it is. I guess that is what he is dreaming about though.
So we have 3 weddings, 4 showers and much more going on May. Really busy month. Hopefully I will write again soon!

And so it begins....

The kids cook thing was great. There were tons of kids there and the kiddos had a blast. We ate tons of food and everything turned out really well. Looking forward to next years.
Work seems to be picking up a bit and that is definately better than sitting doing nothing for 4 hours. I have been leaving early and typically only getting 3-3.5 hours in each night.
Bill is going to be making an appointment with a financial counselor because we are looking into buying a new house. We have been looking, but I want to move soon. Our neighborhood isn't really kid friendly. I mean we have a park right down the street, but there is not a single child on our street to play with. You would think it was a movie star passing by when Bailey spots a kid whipping by on hi/her bike. Little does he know an 8 year old does not want to play with a 3 year old. We also live right on the school border. So even if a child moves in across the street, they would be going to different schools.
