February Break

This is the week of the big February break, a week to avoid all places where groups would normally gather without kids becuase places will be packed (malls, store, children's playplaces). Bailey has off from school on Tuesday and Thursday this week. He also had no gymnastics and Bill has no guitar lessons. This is a week of nothingness.
We took the kids to the Niagara aquarium on Saturday and their website says that a self guided tour takes about an hour. They should tell you it is about an hour with kids that want to look at everything. Bill and I could've cleared that placed in a half an hour. FInd a coupon, it's really not worth the $7.50 to get in.
I took advantage of a massage yesterday on Bill's day off and it was a long time coming.
I am busy planning a trip out to Maine in April for my friend (former roommate from Disney), Erin gets married. But with all the traveling we are doing this year, I don't want to stay 2 nights, and I am having a hard time finding a flight to accomodate my needs.

February

I cannot believe that it is February. Where is the time going? We have been getting ready for Valentine's day here. Bailey is filling out his cards for his classmates and we are attaching M&M packages to them. Bill and I never go out on Valentine's day because it is typically a MADHOUSE at every restaurant. That and because this year, he is off to Washington DC on business for the week with a few people from his office.
Bailey has learned the Pledge of Allegience and it is too funny seeing him say it. Amelia is talking so much that I think her and Bailey are in constant conversation. They were actually playing hide and seek yesterday and Bailey told her to count up to 7
B: "Mia, I will hide, you count to seven."
A: "Seven?"
B: "Yea, seven not eight."
A: "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. "

She can actually count up to thirteen, and after thirteen. it's thirteen and thirteen... And the funniest thing is watching them play hide and seek becuase Bailey will tell Mia where to hide and she will hide there and then he tries to find her. I seriously think he forgot where he told her to go.

Bill is again starting guitar lessons. This promises 11 songs and so many chords. It's through the town, so we will see how that comes about.

I am in the invitation groove again and I am busy making tons of invitations these days. Lots of parties coming up...

Playgroup has been spending time at Monkey Around and Toddle Town and both places are great. Speaking of playgroup, we can now welcome Luke Thomas Deakin to the bunch as Melissa FINALLY had her baby. Welcome Luke!
