I'm here, I promise

I know I have been flaking in the updating of the website. It just seems like time gets away from me everyday. We haven't really had that much going on here.
I have been scouring the black friday ads and am starting to map out my route which unfortunately starts me off at like 2am. I guess when you want a deal, you have to get up and go. I am almost half way done shopping though which makes it seem a little easier.
School is going well for everyone. The kids are loving it and I am getting used to the class I am teaching. Bailey is advancing so far in his reading skills and Mia is nipping at his heels. She is reading very well. I think it has a lot to do with competition in this house. No one wants to be outdone.
Bailey is out tonight for his first sleepover. We have a 2nd grade rule in this house and although we have had Sebastian here, this is the first time Bailey has stayed there. So far, so good.
We have managed (knock on wood) to avoid the sickies that have invaded the area. We have had a lot of kids out sick in the school with the flu and we have so far not gotten it.
We are experiencing a little warm up this weekend and are in the 60s which is great since we have been around 40 degrees for the past month.
