We're back

We had a great long weekend in North Carolina. Our favorite part by far was going out on Grandpa Bill's boat! Bill, Anne and I tried to wakeboard in the the water (like snowboarding on water). We all had great attempts and got up, but Bill was really the only one who did it, and he managed to board all the way down the channel.

It was great. Anne and Bill are in stiff competition for their next attempts taking place on their next visit in October. We put the kids in the tube by themselves and pulled them around in the boat and they loved it. We had only one successful attempt at fishing and that was had by Mia. She caught a catfish with her Hannah Montana pole.

Bailey kept getting nibbles, but no bites. I know he was disappointed. We also stopped into a restaurant called The Penguin which was featured on Diners Driveins and Dives with Guy Fieri on the Food Network. It was a dive, but the food was good. It was a great vacation. Lots of relaxing, lots of sun and lots of together time and when I say together time, I am talking about the 12 hour drive there and back in our little HHR filled with 5 people. :) Some pictures are uploaded.
