A busy weekend...

Wow. We survived such a busy weekend. It probably deserves a few posts, so I will start out with a few things.
The kids and I have been hitting the beach lately. We have been going to Beaver Island Beach and really loving it. The kids really love the sand and I really love being out there (even if I am wearing a bathing suit). We go with some of the neighbors and friends of ours and have a great time. Of course there are MANY MANY things I have learned thus far. #1 The beach is VERY wet after a few days of rain. #2 Never wear good bathing suits to this beach because they will be a terrible grayish color afterwards #3 Never bring a blanket to the beach due to #1. and #4 whatever we are planning to take, cut it down by half.
