Elvin the Elf

When we came home on Friday night, we got a special gift from Santa, Elvin the Elf! He is one of the members of the Elf on the Shelf. The kids got to name him and they decided on Elvin. The story behind Elvin is that he is sent from Santa to keep a special eye on the kids before Christmas. Each night he flies back to Santa and reports on the daily activity of the kids. Then he comes back to the house and sits in a different spot so that he can watch the kids that day. Kids cannot touch the elf because he will lose his magic.
