christmas countdown

So we are entering the Christmas countdown. Bailey has his Santa's Secret Shop tomorrow and we have been getting the house ready for the holidays. We have also been attending holiday parties and doing a lot of shopping. Christmas always seems to creep up on us faster than we expect.
Today I took Amelia roller skating. I swear I have not been since 8th grade at the old Skateland at the Thruway Mall. I took her to Rollers and Strollers at the Rainbow Rink in Tonawanda and let me tell you it is so nice. There was only 6 of us there and you can bring your push toys and strollers if you want. They played high School Musical Music so Mia was in heaven. And she did so well on her roller skates. She hardly fell, except for the time that I plowed into her and knocked her down and landed on her. Needless to say we pack up shortly after that incident.
Speaking of incidents, mia got 3 stitches on Friday on her left eyebrow line. She was standing on the computer chair and Bailey decided to swing it around. Yes, I realize she should not have been standing on the computer chair... But she flew off and bumped her head on the desk and we ended up in the Immediate Care center. She gets her stitches out Thursday.
