Happy New Year!
We had a nonstop action packed Christmas season and we can finally all just sit back and relax. I was so over Christmas by the time Christmas day came that the tree came down Christmas day night and Bill happily tossed it out the back door. The kids received so many things that many haven't even been opened yet. Bill's father was in the weekend before, then we hosted Bill's family here Christmas eve and my family Christmas Morning.
I finally mde it up until midnight on new years, but was in bed before 12:15. I know it's pathtic, but even more pathetic was the fact that I had to work and the boss hadn't shut down the office for the night. The wonderful part of being just a parttime worker. But needless to say I am starting my new at-home job next week and greatly looking forward to it. I will be working with 1-800-flowers as an at home rep and from of the looks of it, it looks pretty interesting. Hopefully this will give me some spending money for myself and a very flexible home schedule.
I guess I will a part of the probably 75% of people this year with the resolution to get into shpae. Bill bought us a treadmill before Christmas, so that will be my goal. Now, I have to get myself into the basement to do this. I have also resolved to have my son's lunch packed for him the night before so I am not running around like a loon in the morning.
Speaking of Bailey, Christmas must have really worn him out as he fell asleep on the bus ride home yesterday. He is the last stop, so when the bus driver, Mrs. Val, stoppepd in front of my house, she kinda shrugged her shoulders as if she ddin't know where he was. Finally she put the bus in park and walked to his seat to see him sleeping in the back.
I never did get around to posting my 40 things to do before I turn 40, but I still would like to add more as I think I only have half that amount. I will post that later or tomorrow...
