Updates on us

So, this week we surprised the kids with a quick overnight trip to Splash Lagoon. Not even knowing where we were going and knowing that a surprise was in store, the comments of "it better be worth it," seemed to be the funniest. The kids really enjoyed the park and I have to say so did we. I will have to post some pictures, but we failed to take the digital camera in side and used a waterproof film camera, so we have to get the developed. Amelia's favorite parts were the lazy river (or wavy river as she calls it) and the kiddie slides, Bailey liked just about everything. I really wanted to go on the Shark Attack, and Bailey seemed ready to go too. Little did I know what it entailed. I went first and the whole ride down, my heart was pounding as I realized that poor Bailey could not be stopped from going down this crazy ride. Guess I was the only was frightened for my life, as he went on again.
In other news, our house is on the move. we took a quick drive by there yesterday and met the carpenter who was installing our cabinets. The house was painted and the wood trim was up. He says that we are about 3 weeks away from being done. Yeah!
Bailey's birthday is fast approaching and he is looking forward to starting school. Let's just hope he's this enthusiastic when high school rolls around...
