"I'm scared."
No one wants to hear that their little boy is scared. But Bailey told me today that he is scared to go to kindergarten. Now, I am on a mad dash to help alleviate his fears about school. Which, I have no idea why he would ever get the feeling that school is someplace to be scared of. We have all his school supplies and will meet his teacher tomorrow. Maybe it is the fear of the unknown? We have been pumping him with information about school and just about everything, so maybe he is afraid because it is a lot of information? Anyone have any book suggestions as I am heading over to Borders today for a first day of school book.

What about when it's the father who's scared? We just took Becca to meet her Pre-K teachers today; I'm dreading next week, when she's on her own during the day. I'll be the sobbing one
Yep, that will be me too. I was crying at the orientation. It's going to be tough
I think you should tell him that if you didn't go to school you wouldn't have met me!!!!! Melanie
