Our update

We have so much stuff going on and coming up that I am in a constant state of "I need a vacation." We just found out that the couple that bought our house probably won't let us rent for 2 months until our house is built, so I now have to look for an apartment. We want something reasonable so we can save a few bucks but something that will a) let us have animals and b) not have a lease.
Speaking of animals, it is going to be a sad day in the Powers house come Saturday as we bid a fond farewell to our little Max. Bill and I have spent days talking with the kids and decided that it will just be too much to take both of the dogs with us on the move. We won't have a fence right away at the new, an apartment is hard enough to find with just the 4 of us, and we are constantly taking weekend trips or vacations that require kenneling 2 dogs which equal a lot of money. My friend Rachael, who has been looking for a companion dog for her current, jumped on the opportunity to take our little pup. So the exchange will be on Saturday.
I also have become addicted to a few blogs that I recently found. One is goodyblog.com and the other is designmom.com They have really interesting stuff on them. The sites are colorful and eyecatching too! I get sucked into them at night.
This Wednesday we need to go and meet the design team at Marrano. I think we need to know the color of the outside of our house by then. I am already stressed. And the following Monday is our 3.5 hour extravaganza at the builder's office picking out the details of our home. I am already having nightmares trying to pick out "this cabinet or this one", "this doorknob or this one." For God sakes, you should have seen me trying to pick out the molding for our house when we signed the papers. We could choose stained or white. And I seriously could not decide. This is going to be an interesting day. I am sure to keep you all updated.
Bailey graduates from pre-k on Memorial day weekend. He is such a big boy. I can't believe he is a kindergartner (almost). They are both signed up for soccer this summer, Bailey on a team and Mia doing the start smart program.
will post more soon
