A New Year
I cannot believe that it is 2006. And I realize for the next few weeks (possibly months) I will keep writing 2005 and having to change all my 5's to 6's. I know a lot of others are in the same boat as I am.
Bill decided to surprise me and stay home on Friday. This was a WONDERFUL surprise. The only downside to it was I ironed all his work clothesThursday night at like 11pm. At least 2 weeks worth. All the while, Bill sat on the couch knowing that I could have put it off for the weekend. But I enjoyed the morning of sleep.
We have also come up with a new house project. This would be putting up a railing that is low enough for the kiddos to go up and down the stairs. While celebrating a cousin's wedding, we received a phone call New Year's Eve night that Mia fell down some stairs on her way to the basement. We headed home to check her out. I think Mia thinks she is a lot older than she thinks because she attempts everything that Bailey does and then some. Although some people say that boys are off the wall, I think that any child following a boy is just as daring. But anyways, everything checked out okay and she was sleeping before we even got home. I think the babysitter was more upset about it than Mia.
